Vintage Adjustable Industrial Scale

Vintage small metal adjustable industrial scale, with rectangular base, sliding weights, counterbalances and measurement markings. Made in the mid-1800s by the Fairbanks Scale Co. of St. Johnsbury, Vermont, this scale has the company cast into the frame in three-dimensional letters on one of the supporting posts.
