Mid-Sized, Arched Saloon Front & Back Bar

Very visually pleasing, mid-sized saloon front and back bar, with deeply carved arched crown, single large mirror, fluted columns on back and front bar, geometrical relief on front bar, and two-armed sconce center light with stenciled shades. Back bar includes recesses and center notch in the crown, carved capitals on columns, egg-and-dart molding, and decorative corner finials, plus compact base with flat center shelf and two symmetrical pairs of drawers and cabinets.

Front bar has double pairs of fluted cylindrical columns with block capitals, a large grid of geometrical relief panels across the front, recessed side panels, a thick wraparound top molding and a recessed tip tray. Working side of bar top has a series of a small support braces, but is otherwise wide open for storing supplies and equipment. This lovely piece – custom designed and built by Wooden Nickel’s master craftsman from vintage materials – has rich oak grain and dark, coffee-like tones. This very versatile ensemble would be an attractive and functional addition to any tavern, wine bar or coffee shop.
