Shaped 17th Century French “bombe” chest, with shaped, pink marble top, shaped frame and legs, rich wood grain, and brass ormolu accents and hardware. Includes six shaped drawers. This “bombe” style is typified by outward bulging of the shape from the front and sides and curving backward toward the base.
