Classic 19th Century Decorative Safe

Rare, highly crafted fireproof safe, with many fine Classical decorative details. Includes concealing doors, carved front columns and base, and shaped white marble top. Doors include highly crafted bronze cameos set over recessed panels with raised relief, and left-hand cameo is hinged and opens to reveal safe combination dial. Interior has large, open center space and upper inset shelf with smaller compartments. Manufactured by historical safe makers Herring, Farrel & Sherman, of New York, in late 19th Century.
