Cast-Iron Stove, from “Gamble House”

Vintage, two-level, cast-iron stove, acquired from residence of Cincinnati businessman James Gamble, in Cincinnati. Made by the Barstow Stove Co., of Providence, Rhode Island, and it includes originally cast manufacturer’s brand label on the front frame. This cast label shows the foundry date as 1864. Item was recently acquired by Wooden Nickel Antiques from the property of the historic Gamble House on Werk Rd., in Cincinnati.
