Large, Carved Walnut 3-Door Bookcase

Impressive carved walnut bookcase, with three beveled-glass doors, large center crown with small, two-door upper cabinet, turret notches, shaped and twisted decorative columns on front of frame, shaped side-door frames and glass, galley railings over the side cabinets, recessed panels and various sized drawers in the base. Details are very gothic, with finely shaped and detailed brass hardware on doors and drawers which include geometrical shapes and patterns plus mythical faces. Other details include geometrical notching around recesses, and stirrup-shaped and scroll-shaped door and drawer handles. Center drawers are paired and double-stacked. And cabinets each contain five shelf levels, including base level across the bottom.
