“Brooks” Renaissance Revival Bed, with Winged Cherub

Stunning, carved walnut, Queen-sized, Renaissance Revival bed, including winged cherub on crown on head board. Attributed to historical furniture designer Thomas Brooks, of Brooklyn, New York, circa 1880s. Elaborately carved crown includes cascade of notched sections with cherub, scrolls, shells, finials, medallions, recesses and carved molding. Foot board includes shaped top frame, with carved molding, medallions and other accents.
