Very rare small antique office safe, circa 1871, mounted on decorative pedestal, with shaped, square-edged base. Includes fabric interior lining and sorting compartments, plus painted decorative exterior artwork plus linear details and nature scenes on side panels. Made by historical safe company, Herring & Co., of New York. Original brand label is inscribed on inner safe door surface.
