Deeply Carved 1800s “Horner” Sideboard

Exquisitely carved horizontal sideboard, circa late 1800s, with carved columns with full mythical figures on front corners, elaborate floral crown with center emblem, plus griffins and birds, and deep floral patterns and accents on crown and trim. Includes broad horizontal drawer below main shelf, plus multiple center drawers and two side cabinets with highly decorative recessed front panels in the base. Built by the historical New York furniture maker, R.J. Horner & Co.
