Alabaster Female Figure, Circa 1870

Attractive, small alabaster statue of mythical female figure carrying urn of water. Includes metal gallery stamp from “Casa Bellas Arte” in Buenos Aires, Argentina. And the artist’s signature engraved in the base says, “C. Scheggi”. This is likely Italian sculptor Cesare Scheggi, 1833-1876. So piece is circa mid-19th Century.
